            This lesson plan is our most requested , since most drives are in an urban environment at some point. We not only teach the first steps toward confident driving, but also hone the skills of experienced drivers in a fast changing dynamic of more people and more vehicles of every type . Safest techniques and  operation in traffic and on neighborhood streets. Overall awareness ahead of time and speed control are stressed                                                                                               


            • Rural Hazards and Dangers

            Of the 3 basic types of driving, the rural areas are by far the most dangerous. The high speed and open roads are misleading and  that is the danger. It is easy to miscalculate speed or how sharp a curve is. Thera are serpentine complex curves and banked and sunken grades. Not to mention animals foreign and domestic. from Llamas to Bison and camels and from to Elk and deer and skunks Weather that can change unexpectedly and floods or wind are added arttractions as well..

            • Defensive Driving                                                                                        A basic how to on the skillset necessary to avoid conflicts in a rapidly changing traffic dynamic.


            • Beginners safe basic operation

             The first step to safely avoid conflict and anxiety. techniques and prompts and helpful tips that make safe driving easier. Helpful habits to learn and dangerous habits to avoid. How to observe as much as possible as often as possible by using your mirrors.


            • Experienced drivers maintenance and improvement

            How to optimize and update driving skills in a constantly changing traffic dynamic. How to compensate for age and eyesight issues, How to use technology as an adjunct instead of a primary source of information. Improved methods and abilities that can be learned and applied every day. How to recover from a stroke or injury, and relearn how to drive with a disability.
